Dwayne started Fire Line Services after the plumbing company he worked for closed its doors mid-job. Rather than walk away, he made the case to the GC — convinced him to write the contract and the check directly to him — and finished the work himself.
He took that first check and started Fire Line Services.
The company began with a single focus: installing fire lines and FDC connections for overhead sprinkler subs. As the industry evolved and GCs began expecting more from their utility subcontractors, Fire Line Services evolved with it — expanding into sewer, water, and storm to become a full-service underground utility contractor.
Today, with more than 50 field crew members and projects across the DFW metroplex and beyond, that same founding instinct — show up, do the work, keep your word — is what drives us.
GCs keep calling us back because our crews move efficiently and we're strong on the relationship side. That's not marketing copy. It's what we've heard directly from the field for 30+ years.
